About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our startup’s leadership team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute to the organization’s overall efficiency, and be comfortable taking on new projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication:
– Facilitate clear and concise communication between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders.
– Draft and proofread emails, memos, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Attention to Detail:
– Manage and organize complex schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements with a keen eye for detail.
– Review and edit documents, reports, and presentations to ensure quality and consistency.
Task Management:
– Efficiently juggle multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
– Proactively identify areas of improvement in processes and suggest solutions.
Organization:
– Maintain organized files and records, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval.
– Anticipate needs and prepare materials in advance to facilitate smooth workflow.
Research:
– Conduct thorough research on various topics to provide the executive team with relevant and up-to-date information.
– Summarize research findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Presentation Development:
– Utilize software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite to develop engaging and visually appealing presentation materials for internal and external use.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of presentation content.
Adaptability:
– Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on new projects or tasks as the startup evolves.
– Proactively seek opportunities to contribute beyond the scope of traditional duties.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Suite.
Previous experience in conducting research and developing presentations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This position is part time (no more than 20 hours per week) and remote. It is open to recent undergraduate and graduate students based in Ghana.
